Okay, I am currently attending a 4-year college majoring in management. I wish to change over a community college to grab some credits before transferring to a university to major in clinical laboratory science.

How can I switch my financial aid over to the other college? Do I simply call financial aid and tell them to cancel my award and send my information to the college I am interested in attending?

I don’t want any debt after college, but I really don’t want to spend time looking for loans. My GPA and SAT scores are good and I’m a little on the poor side, so those might help. However, I feel that it would be much easier and would remove a lot of stress if I just got a lot of financial aid and a loan. What do you suggest that I should do?

i had applied at Houston Community College an had received financial aid for that school. But im now moving to Virgina and will be attending Northern Virginia CC. i have not started school yet. so i was wondering if my financial money is able to transfer over to Virginia.

I fully support my boyfriend while he’s in college. My boyfriend is concerned that his financial aid (FAFSA & Pell grants, I believe) might be lowered if I claim him as a dependent on my taxes. (I only make about $60k.) Does anyone know if this is true? Any help is greatly appreciated!

We have already filled out our FAFSA forms for the year and he has gotten his statement back. If we get married before his school starts, will it help or hurt his financial aid? He is going into grad school and is only eligible for loans right now. Since I am a single mom, I get a good deal of aid. If we get married, will he get more aid and I’ll get less?

I have like enrolled into a school a week ago (sullivan and cogliano) which is like a training and job placement program but I never went because I am no longer interested in the program, so I would like to know would I have to pay back any financial aid or student loans if I never started school.
