Any advice on where I could find financial aid for a Masters program in Special Education?
Saturday, April 29th, 2006Bum Head asked:
I’ve been accepted into the Masters program in special education at a college in Boston- problem is, I will be totally dependent on financial aid- In pocket, I barely have enough to pay rent-
Any suggestions? Where could I find the $$ to cover my SPED graduate studies? My credit is in shreds, so borrowing from a bank is not possible.

Late application for financial aid to Yale?
Sunday, April 23rd, 2006Sara W asked:
I’ve applied to a number of Ivies and a few other top schools. I applied for financial aid to all of them, but unfortunately missed a lot of deadlines because they were so early. Can anyone tell me if my late application for financial aid will affect the amount of the award I will hopefully receive if accepted? Thanks so much.

When applying for financial aid for college, is your EFC based on one year or all 4?
Saturday, April 15th, 2006Tempest-Lord asked:
When one is filling out their FAFSA in order to recieve federal financial aid, the student is given an EFC (estimated family contribution) once their results are in.

If a person’s EFC is something like 20,000, is that referring to how much money their family should contribute over one year or all four years of undergraduate study?
