Kathlyn S asked:

I just found out that I failed one of my courses at the end of my fall semester. Leaving me with a minimum of four credits earned for that semester. I am now worried about my financial aid. Since, I failed that class do I just have to pay for the class I failed? Will financiall aid take care of the classes that I passed? Or because I only have four credits will I have to pay for my entire semester?

I am married with four small children. We only gross around $50,000 a year. How can I make sure I am getting as much financial aid as possible? I am looking into starting an online college next month and this is the only thing holding me back. Are there any kinds of scholarships/grants for parents? I am going for elementary education. Thanks in advance:)

Rosita asked:

I’ve always gotten a check from Financial Aid at the end of the semester. If I take out a student loan this year as well, which one will pay for my classes first? Will I still get a check from financial aid? Or will they not pay because the loan covered the payment?
The student loan interest is less then a personal loan. And I could really use the money. Plus, I want to diversify my financial history. And I know I can pay it back. So why shouldn’t I take it out?

luvikavi asked:

I am interested in apply for financial aid as in independent status, however, I’m trying to decide whether to stay at the school where I am at or transfer down to be closer to my family. Do I need to apply at each school, or can I apply at the school I’m at right now, and will I still be an independent when I do decide to transfer?
