I used to work for the Hard Rock Cafe and one of my co-workers received 10 grand a year towards tuition. She showed up to work once a week to maintain the grant.

Hi,
This is my second year of college and last year i failed to get above a 2.0 GPA. So now they don’t want to give me financial aid. I feel the big reason is that my parents have and still are going through a very nasty divorce. And to top it off i am in the middle of it all.
Can anyone help me write an appeal letter please…..

As a result of some unexpected circumstances, I was extremely late in applying for federal financial aid for the 2006-2007 school year. I was awarded only $2650.00 for the entire year and I took out an education loan for $15,000. After paying tuition, apartment rent, books, and a million other unexpected fees/costs, I am realizing that I am going to have an extremely difficult time making ends meet for the current Spring semester.

Is there anything I can do to get some significant financial help to continue funding my education?

I get financial aid in school, and I don’t even look forward to getting it because my mom always hounds me about me. She is always asking me when is it coming and you owe me this and you owe me that and then she has the nerve to turn around to say that I don’t contribute after I give her $500! I get $2,000 in financial aid, and my mom says that she makes $90,000/year so what does she need with my financial aid money? Yes she buys my books ahead of time with her credit card, but they never add up to over $150! What should I do?

my parents both have not filed their taxes, so how can i get financial aid by myself. im only 19 years old and i honestly do not know what to do. i’ve tried to enroll aand get financial aid but it didnt work out. told me my mom made too much to not file her taxes. so if my mom does not file, am i basically screwed until i turn 24?
