I was going to apply for financial aid and fill out my FAFSA profile and all that but I missed the deadline for one of my schools. However, my dad told me not to even bother filling it out. He said that since he makes a really really good salary, I’d probably not get anything.

I just got accepted to Fordham but I can’t go there unless I get significant financial aid help. Is there a good likelihood that i will get aid even though my family doesn’t nearly qualify for it? I’ve heard that a lot of people are opting not to go there becuase of the price and that they are thus giving more money to entice people. Has anyone had this experience? How much have you gotten?

I believe I saw in a book (probably a US News College Rankings) that had a list of schools that cover the most percentage of college costs because of need-based aid. Is there a list where I can see the colleges that give most financial aid and the percentages?
I think the list is called “Schools that award the most need-based aid”
I am in Connecticut and am going into my senior year of high school in September.

I withdrew from a semester at University of Alaska Anchorage. I didn’t know that doing so would suspend my financial aid eligibility. I understand that if I complete a semester unaided, or if I appeal the suspension, I can reinstate my eligibility for aid. But I’ve decided to go to a technical school instead. So is my aid suspended COMPLETELY, or is it only suspended through the University?
