Also i only have 5,000 in my bank and the college i want to go to is 10,000 tutition.. And its a 4 year school.. So could i get a student loan and financial aid to cover the cost? or do i need to look for a cheaper school because they wont help me =[ ?

I know it depends and varies…but does FAFSA ever pay the full tuition for a University, or do they only take care of a small portion of it? I get the max. financial aid at my City College right now, but I am just trying to get an idea of how much of the tuition it will cover when I transfer to a University. What is the maximum amount they will cover?

I have a disbursement date set for my financial aid, but it is one week before payment is due on my next semester of classes. I know I need to ask my school next week about this, but has anyone heard of being able to pay for your classes with the financial aid before the disbursement date?
