When I accepted my financial aid online, i fell short a little bit so applied for an alternative loan. However, I miscalculated and am going to have some money left over at the end of the year. The money is sent directly to the school, so can I use this on my next years tuition? Can I request the money and use it for something else? Or am I stuck paying for unused funds?

My friends account has been put on hold by a collection agency, but she has her child support money going in there. She just got her rewards from her financial aid and a small student loan. That is all she has. Can they garnish all of it?
How about the child support money? She needs it! She has no job right now.

ok so i applied for financial aid last semester and got it and this semester i wont be able to attend but they already sent me a check . so whats gunna happen when they find out im not going? will i have to return the money?
