I did mention my request, and the dollar amount. My school does require a computer (I’m an online student), and as it stands my current computer barely meets most requirements. MY FA advisor won’t give me any more information, she just kind of keeps repeating the same thing.

Also, yes, I know Apple has a student discount, but when I need a system that starts at $2300, the $200 discount they give is kind of useless when I’m looking at $5K. I’m not fond of Windows (which are cheaper) because they have a shorter lifespan, and aren’t great when it comes to creating graphics. (I have extensive experience with both systems.)

My daughter is attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison and she has only lived in the dorms, she is considering an apartment for next year instead. Do you know if she is not living in the dorms do they only consider the tuition and books in the cost of attendance for financial aid? Or, is housing even if off campus still included in the cost?
She definitely needs the aid so just wondering?
Plus, does anyone know or have an idea on approx apartment costs in the Madison area?
