I just applied for ASU for fall 2009.

All I have to do now is retake my ACT and tell my high school to send them my transcripts. So basically, the application isn’t “finalized.” Do I apply for financial aid now, or do I wait to be accepted first?

Ok this is my problem I am wanting to file for finacial aid for fall semester and my mother will not give me her fedral forms so I can complete the financial aid application she always says that they should not need my tax forms because I do not live with her and that I am an adult. So I call the financial aid office at my local community college and had them explain why they need her taxes. So after they explained to her why I then preceeded to ask her my I please have your tax forms so I can complete my financial aid application and she said well you dont even have a job to support you, remember college doesn’t start until August, and I know I will find a job by then. Then she was like why don’t you get a job before completing the application and I try to explain to her that you have to file in advance in order to ensure that everything will be completed before the semester starts. So she didn’t want to hear that and started to say leave me alone and quit borthering me about it.
Now I have been trying to get her tax forms to complete the application since early may and still she will not give me them. I don’t know what it is if she doesn’t want me to get an eduacation or what but it is making me feel like I should just not college but I am and I am determined to embark on this endeaver to prove to myself that I can do it and throw it in my parents face because they always said I was going to be nothing and its time to get revenge

Is it against the rules to use National Science Foundation scholarship money for a **** site subscription? The subscription was paid for with the debit card the school issues for financial aid payment. If so, who would this be reported to?

welfare is one thing but for people who work hard on their grades and would like a chance in life, so they don’t end up on welfare or be a drain, and need financial aid, could be denied this..why?what is wrong with you.

Only about 3 weeks left in the current semester, needing to leave because of personal reasons. I get several types of financial aid, 2 grants, and stafford loans. With it being this late in the fall semester how will dropping my classes now affect my financial aid for the spring semester?
Just to clarify, I need to drop all 3 of my classes for the rest of the semester but want to enroll again next semester, so I’d be dropping the classes and not fully out. Meaning I’d still be registered but not attending the remaining 3 weeks.

I am working part time right now while earning my BA, so i won’t have much at all saved up…not nearly enough for the rest of tuition.
