I got a financial aid check a week ago and then got a bill for this week for the amount I got. It says I have to refund the money. This is second time this has happen. Why even give the money to me. Going crazy!

I’m moving to California from Michigan and I don’t know what school I want to transfer to yet. It’s getting late for financial aid as well as applications. Am I allowed to take a semester off to get on my feet in a new state and decide where I want to go to school? Additional information: I’m talking about COLLEGE financial aid, not food stamps or something like that. This couple owns their own home and works for a charity. That’s why they only make $15,000 a year total.

I want to know of any good places online or companies that provide Scholarships for students. I have applied for Financial Aid and plan to apply for a Student Loan next week when Spring semester begins. I’d like to get some information on Scholarships as well. No idea how it works and a lot of stuff online don’t really make a whole lot of sense. (You have to be Jewish or a Minority or something on most of them that I found)

Hi recently i submitted my FAFSA application for the 2009-2010 year for university. however, i submitted 10 days later than the deadline March 2 that the University of California system provide. what will happen to the aid i can get?? i’m transfering probably to a UC. i heard that the late applicant will receive much lower financial aid. will that be a big difference? what should i do?

I applied for college and was accepted and was awarded complete financial aid meaning my parents don’t have to pay for anything. All my classes are on campus except for one which I have decided to take online. Will financial aid pay for that one online class or will I have to pay for that myself?
I do qualify for Financial Aid. I have already received my Financial Aid award. I’m just wondering if all my classes have to be on campus?
