Just out of curiosity. When does my Financial Aid usually get applied to my Semester Bill because it hasnt been altered yet. Also my Aid exceeds my Semester Bill, What am i able to do with this money and how do i receive it?

Hi I recently graduated from high school and was awarded the Florida Medalion scholarship. The scholarship website says visit your financial aid adviser for disbursement and stuff. I will start attending SFCC for the fall semester, when should I pay a visit to their financial aid office?? registration starrs last week of july but Classes dont start till the third week of august. Should i show up in a couple of weeks to see what they say?
