For instance, if you applied for financial aid for college and they give you enough for one year then you get a full time job and apply for financial aid next year does it drastically affect the amount of financial aid you are going to get? Is it better just to work part time rather than full time?

I have read everything in detail about financial aid from the WSU website. It seems its not possible for International F1 visa students to receive Federal Grants. If there is any way to earn some cash and cut down costs, let me know. Thank you guys.

After i fill out a Fafsa form, what do i do next? Can someone go through the process for me? i already signed it and turned it in to the financial aid office with a voided check. now what do i do now? do i just check my bank account and see if the money got in? how will i get notified when the money comes in ?

my financial aid just got approved and I applied for a loan of $1000 dollars and with the $2000 dollars im obviosly going to pay back the loan but what I wanted to know what do I do with the rest of the money that’s left? Can I use it for personal needs?Or is that money that you use for the next term?

A few weeks ago they decided to put me through verification. After all the paper work they said it’d be 2 weeks. It has now been 2 weeks and they say it will be 30 days.

I have no $ to buy books and I have assignments due on tuesday. I know it doesn’t take them 30 days to read 1 page of paper. Anyone work in financial aid and know of a short cut?

I go to the University of California, Santa Barbara. I dorm at UCSB. At Home, I live with my single mom and she is financially unstable. I’m going to get financial aid from UCSB but my mom just told me that she might file for bankruptcy where she doesn’t have to pay her credit cards and she is able to keep her house/car etc.. Will I still be able to get financial aid?
