My grandmother and brother live with me now, but I did not include them as an exemption on my taxes. Will I neeed to provide them with verification that they live with me? If so, what kind of verification will I need to provide?
I pay all the rent, utilities, food etc.

I am currently going through some very rough times with my parents and am going to be finishing my final year of college in the 2009-2010 school year. At this point I may be either kicked out of the house or decide to leave on my own accord, but my parents pay my tuition and I need to figure out how I would be able to pay for this school year. I applied for financial aid using the FAFSA. It says I will be awarded 17,387.

However, I don’t have any idea how it’s claimed. Does the school distribute a check? Is it cash? Do you need to prove where you spent the money?

I can’t seem to find anything about it on the internet.
