It’s my understanding that financial aid is awarded by your income you had the previous year. How will the spring 2008 semester be determined because if they go by my income for 2007 I won’t have any proof. Since I obviously have not filed taxes yet?

OK. So I make $600 a month AND I get an SSI check of $500… I’m a HS student. She is telling me to slow down and work less because working too much decreases my chances of getting more money or financial aid period. I am already going to have some problems since my mom made $50,000 last year. So. I was thinking of working three days a week instead of five?

*I don’t qualify for the Pell Grant.

The college I’ll be attending no longer has space in the residence halls and isn’t accepting housing contracts anymore. So I have to live in an off campus apartment with a roommate, the rent is $314, which isn’t too bad, but I was wondering will my financial aid cover the costs?
