I have a bachelor’s degree in biology, make 13k, and am trying to complete a second degree in civil engineering. However, I am trying to come up with financial aid due to my low income and the high tuition at the state university, and have come up short because I already have a degree, and therefore can’t get FAFSA aid or other scholarships available internally at my school. What else can I do for financial aid so that I can get my paperwork and a large increase in pay? Thanks!
I did not receive any aid from FAFSA towards my BS degree in biology, and I am taking these civil engineering courses as a prerequisite to an MS in civil engineering. What would happen to financial aid in this situation?

If you work full time and are receiving fafsa financial aid will it drasticly change the EFC? If you weren’t working previously and started to recieve the benefits, will it drastically change the EFC?

I was attending school fulltime last year when i found out i was pregnant in May. Now that i have a son now I am considered an independent student. How do i go about filing for financial aid if i had no taxes to fill out? The only money i receive now is child support which is 400 a month.

This coming Fall08 semester will be my last semester at my Current University, I will be transferring to another University for the Spring09 semester. My question is, if i have used the first half of my financial aid (for the fall semester) at my current University, what do I need to do to transfer the second half of my financial aid (for the spring semester) to the University I will be transferring to? The financial aid I am receiving are the Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, and the FSEOG.

I woud like to know if there is an online university that offers various masters programs? Also, it should be covered by financial aid (grants, etc) and has the option of getting students loans if needed?

I was filling out the FAFSA form for financial aid, and was filling out information for my mother. She is unemployed, collecting disability due to health reasons, and is not supported by my father unless child support is considered. Is she considered a dislocated worker, or not?
