Would financial aid be able to sufficiently cover my living expenses and school as well? I have an apartment and all of the costs associated with that.

I have to have a hysterectomy, and have no health insurance. My husband’s income is “too much” for us to qualify for any kind of state insurance. We do receive a sliding scale at my doctor’s office (they take 25% off my bill). Is there any kind of financial aid out there to help families that don’t qualify for medicaid? I won’t die without the surgery, but raising the money will take me at least a year, and I’m already in a great deal of pain. Any ideas would be extremely helpful! Thanks much!

I’ve recently decided to change my major from computer engineering to nursing but my school (a 4 year university) doesn’t offer the program so i will have to move to a close by community college to get my AA. Since I’ve already received the financial aid for this semester and next semester’s financial aid is also decided, will i get the same amount of money, if any, when i switch to a community college? Also, will i be required to pay back the money i was given for this semester since i might not complete the year?

Okay, I have no money for college and I’m on my senior year of high school. I want to get into an art college so I can learn how to make BlazBlue type games and what not. I also want to do character design, graphic design and I need a good college with a good financial aid program, AND it needs to be in Georgia. I don’t want to have to develop first person shooters or God of War crap games but more anime style fighting games. Can someone please help me?

I’m going full time right now (13 credits) and I receive financial aid. I can’t drop any classes because my financial aid reflects the fact that I go full time, but I don’t think I’m going to pass one of my classes. If I get a D or F in a class, what happens to my financial aid? I know I go on Academic Probation, but I don’t really know what that means. Will I loose my aid for next semester? How does Academic Probation work?

I live with my mother in law with my fiance and a baby. But she makes about $50,000 a year and claiming us on her taxes. Would that unqualify me for financial aid? I heard that you have to be claiming yourself, or the financial aid goes based off of the person’s income that is claiming me.

I know I can pay for 1 year to show good intention on the loans and get out of default but I want to go to school now.
