I need to take a class in the spring as well and was wondering if I could be able to get the financial aid split to cover part time for winter quarter and part time for spring instead of just full time for Winter. I am currently on the waiting list for a class that would bump me up into full time status. I only got $500 because I am part time. I was wondering if I would be able to go to my campus financial aid center and ask for more money since I would be finally a full time student? The week coming up would be the third week into school. For instance, if you applied for financial aid for college and they give you enough for one year then you get a full time job and apply for financial aid next year does it drastically affect the amount of financial aid you are going to get? Is it better just to work part time rather than full time?

I’m planning to possibly move out of my family home and move in with my boyfriend. Of course that means my mom would no longer be paying for my education. I would have to get a full time job, but I may want to take a class or two on the side. I should definitely be able to get financial aid since I would be going from a $200,000 household income to a $15,000 household income. But I’m just not sure if financial aid is even an option if I just want to go to school parttime.
